LOS ANGELES (August 7, 2017)—Premier local builder Build Group was honored as the #2 “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” best large company category. Recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal for being one of “the most successful in business and in nurturing their own.” As LABJ’s editors succinctly put it, “The Best Places to Work in Los Angeles is an annual celebration of elite employers who have proven that they know what it takes to create environments where people love to come to work.”
Every year, an independent research firm surveys the employees of several hundred companies. Based on their findings, the firm narrows the nominees down to a list of finalists that exemplify the core characteristics of a great place to work, including culture, morale and work environment. Build Group is honored to be among the 100 companies chosen to receive this year’s coveted title out of 460 nominations.
Under Southern California President Todd Pennington’s leadership, Build Group has quadrupled its workforce since opening the local office in 2015, adding many jobs in Los Angeles as the office continues on a fast-growth trajectory. Official category rankings for the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2017 "Best Places to Work" was announced August 7 at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles.
