Project Data Sheet

Description

This project for the Chico School District included 1.3MW at three schools, a total of more than 88,000 SF elevated structure, 123 T-structures, and was a DSA project. The complete project for Solar City includes five school districts statewide, 21 schools and more than 6.7 megawatts.

Build Group self-performed the 123 concrete piers and 32,200 LF of gauge steel purlins. In order to provide the best costs to our clients, Build Group purchases the steel material directly from the mill. This also gives us better control of the product as it is fabricated and delivered to the jobsites. The project requires complex logistics and scheduling management to ensure every rebar cage, steel column, and purlin were delivered on-time and per the stringent DSA specifications.
