Explore, Learn, and Experience Build Group
A Day in the Life
Build Group interns don’t watch from the sidelines. From week one, you’re working on real projects with real responsibility. You’ll walk job sites with superintendents, sit in on owner meetings, track submittals and schedules, and help solve problems that affect what gets built. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across the business and see how concrete, framing and finishes come together in a finished building. You’ll learn from people who know the work firsthand, and you’ll be expected to contribute.
We hire interns from engineering, construction management, business, finance and the trades. What we look for is character, curiosity and ownership. Many of our project managers and field leaders started right where you are, as interns who asked good questions, took on more than expected and found a career they loved. By the end of the summer, you won’t just understand how buildings get built. You’ll be able to point to one and say, “I helped build that.”
What Our Recent Interns Are Saying
