1 Hotel West Hollywood is a 17,908 SF interior hospitality tenant improvement project completed within an occupied luxury hotel in West Hollywood, California. The phased renovation transformed public-facing hospitality and amenity spaces across the main lobby, ground floor, pool deck and café, retail areas, and upper guestroom corridors while maintaining ongoing hotel operations.

The project modernized and elevated the guest experience through renovations to the main lobby, café, retail areas, pool deck café, and lobby seating areas, along with the addition of two new bars, a conference room, and a state-of-the-art movie screening room. Build Group carefully sequenced construction across multiple occupied areas to minimize disruption to guests, staff, and daily hotel functions.

Architectural features included two-story heavy timber installations, unique reclaimed wood sourced from across the country, suspended ceiling treatments, operable wall systems, custom millwork, and upgraded lighting. Additional work included accessibility improvements, modifications to guestroom corridors on Levels 4 through 7, and integrated food and beverage enhancements. Owner-furnished contractor-installed materials included flooring, kitchen equipment, and approximately 50% of the millwork.

The completed renovation combines distinctive natural materials, detailed craftsmanship, and upgraded hospitality amenities to create a refined environment aligned with 1 Hotel’s luxury, sustainability, and experiential design identity.
