Huntington Hotel (BuildSingular JV) is a 143,673 SF Type I / II historic hospitality renovation and repositioning located on Nob Hill in San Francisco. The project includes 12 levels above grade and two below, with 143 guest rooms.

The project revitalizes one of the city’s most iconic properties, balancing preservation of its historic architectural character with the integration of modern systems and elevated guest experiences. Build Group is playing a key role in coordinating complex renovation activities within the existing structure, addressing constraints tied to aging infrastructure, limited site access, and the technical demands of upgrading building systems in a dense urban environment.

Scope includes full renovation of guestrooms, upgraded spa and wellness facilities, reimagined food and beverage venues including the Big Four restaurant, and enhancements to reception and public areas. Careful sequencing and coordination are required to align construction activities with operational and neighborhood considerations.

The project was recognized with a 2026 Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design by Boutique Design | BDNY, highlighting the design and transformation of this landmark hospitality property.
