The Martin

The Martin is an 802,564 SF, ground-up mixed-use multifamily development centrally located in downtown Sunnyvale. The project features two 12-story buildings with 479 market-rate residential units, ground-floor restaurant and retail space, and two levels of subterranean parking providing 470 stalls. Design-Build MEP systems support the development’s residential, retail, parking, and amenity spaces.

The two buildings are organized around a privately owned, publicly accessible open-space plaza that integrates five existing heritage redwood trees into the overall design. Located within a five-minute walk of the Sunnyvale Caltrain station, the transit-oriented development creates strong connections between housing, public open space, retail, and the surrounding downtown community.

Residents have access to an extensive amenity program featuring a fitness center, pool, resident lounge, library, flex space, rooftop terrace, barbecue areas, fire pits, and dedicated pet facilities. The development achieved LEED Silver certification and received multiple industry honors, including the 2025 PCBC Gold Nugget Award for Mixed-Use Community of the Year.

The completed development brings together high-density housing, transit access, retail and dining, public open space, and resident-focused amenities in the heart of downtown Sunnyvale.
