A comprehensive baseball field renovation combining upgraded turf, modern dugouts, and improved spectator amenities within an active university setting.
USF Benedetti Diamond is a 4,422-square-foot higher education athletic renovation at the University of San Francisco. The project modernized the existing baseball facility through a series of field, spectator, and support-space improvements designed to enhance both game-day operations and the overall athlete experience.
The renovation included re-orienting the playing field, lowering the turf elevation, and resurfacing the field with new synthetic turf. Modern dugouts were added along the diamond, along with new ticketing booths and concession structures to improve spectator access and support game-day functions.
The project focused on upgrading the existing field within a university setting while making efficient use of the available budget. Improvements were concentrated on the playing surface, team areas, and spectator support facilities to create a more functional and contemporary athletic environment.
Structural concrete was self-performed as part of the renovation. The completed facility provides an updated home for university baseball with improved field performance, team amenities, and fan-serving infrastructure.
