1 Hotel West Hollywood is a 20,400-square-foot interior hospitality tenant improvement project located within an occupied luxury hotel in West Hollywood, California. Build Group delivered the phased renovation of public-facing hospitality spaces, transforming the guest experience across the lobby level, ground floor, pool café, and upper guestroom corridors.

The project addressed the owner’s vision to modernize and elevate the hotel’s amenity offerings while maintaining uninterrupted hotel operations. Build Group coordinated construction within an active hospitality environment, sequencing work across multiple occupied areas to minimize disruption to guests, staff, and daily hotel functions.

Scope included the renovation of the main lobby, café, retail areas, pool deck café, and lobby seating areas, along with the addition of new bars, conference rooms, and a state-of-the-art movie screening room. Architectural features included two-story heavy timber installations, reclaimed wood sourced from across the country, suspended ceiling treatments, operable wall systems, custom millwork elements, and upgraded lighting throughout. Additional work included accessibility improvements, corridor modifications on Levels 4 through 7, and integrated food and beverage enhancements.

The completed renovation delivers a refined hospitality environment that aligns with the 1 Hotel brand’s luxury, sustainability, and experiential design identity.
