1101 Space Park Drive – Colovore is a Type III data center tenant improvement project delivering an 8,141-square-foot expansion and infrastructure upgrade to an existing facility in Santa Clara, California. Build Group completed the work to increase capacity and strengthen the performance of the Colovore data center while maintaining the reliability required for mission-critical operations.

The project was executed in multiple phases to modernize the facility’s electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Phase 1 included a comprehensive retrofit of the existing building and the construction of a new exterior equipment yard with generators, establishing the core infrastructure required to support future expansion.

Phase 2 introduced an 8,141-square-foot extension of the data center environment with new cooling and power systems. Improvements included installation of a cooling tower, 60 server cabinets, two power distribution units, nine computer room air handler units, and two computer room air conditioning units.

Phase 3 added additional server capacity and mechanical infrastructure, including 66 server cabinets, three UPS systems, a generator, cooling towers, and additional CRV and CRAC units. The completed upgrades provide enhanced redundancy, cooling capacity, and electrical reliability to support high-density computing operations.
