Huntington Hotel

Huntington Hotel (BuildSingular JV) is a renovation Type I / II hospitality project located on Nob Hill in San Francisco. Project was a 143,673-square-foot historic hotel repositioning and included 12 levels above grade and two below, with 143 guest rooms.

The project revitalizes one of the city’s most iconic properties, balancing preservation of historic architectural character with the integration of modern systems and elevated guest experiences. Build Group is playing a key role in coordinating complex renovation activities within an existing structure, addressing constraints tied to aging infrastructure, limited site access, and the technical demands of upgrading building systems in a dense urban environment.

Scope includes full renovation of guestrooms, upgraded spa and wellness facilities, and reimagined food and beverage venues including the Big Four restaurant, along with enhancements to reception and public areas. Careful sequencing and coordination are required to align construction activities with operational and neighborhood considerations.

The completed project will enhance the property’s long-term performance, elevate the guest experience, and reinforce its position as a premier destination within San Francisco’s hospitality market.
