Zara – Westfield San Francisco Centre is a retail tenant improvement project located within the Westfield San Francisco Centre in downtown San Francisco. This 25,579-square-foot, two-level flagship retail build-out transformed multiple existing tenant spaces into a unified shopping environment designed to support Zara’s global brand standards.
The project addressed the need for a modernized, high-capacity retail experience within one of San Francisco’s busiest urban shopping destinations. Several adjoining retail spaces were demolished and reconfigured to create a cohesive two-story layout while construction was carefully coordinated within an active, occupied mall environment. Detailed logistics planning, sequencing, and coordination with mall management and neighboring tenants helped minimize disruption and maintain safe operations throughout construction.
The flagship build-out included new architectural finishes, full MEP systems, and installation of a new elevator to improve customer circulation and operational functionality between both levels. Owner-furnished, contractor-installed materials included tile flooring, door hardware, light fixtures, and specialty equipment.
Completed in May 2018, the project established a refined, high-visibility retail destination that strengthens Zara’s presence within the Westfield San Francisco Centre and enhances the customer shopping experience.
