Affordable housing for San Francisco artists and their families, bringing residences, performance venues, creative workspaces, and neighborhood life together on Market Street.

Artist’s Hub on Market is a 120,005-square-foot, ground-up Type IA affordable housing and arts development on San Francisco’s Market Street. The 17-level mixed-use building includes 15 levels above grade and two below, with 94 permanently affordable homes for artists and their families.

Residential space spans 12 floors, with studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Residents share a community room, rooftop garden, fitness space, and bicycle storage. Located along a major transit corridor, the development connects residents and the arts community to the surrounding city.

Approximately 19,330 square feet across three levels supports the arts community through a black box theater, rehearsal and practice rooms, nonprofit arts offices, and related spaces. A street-level, neighborhood-serving café doubles as the primary entrance to the theater below. The integration of residential, performance, and community spaces brings a diverse program together within one urban building.
