Prescott Station brings 235 affordable homes to West Oakland in a 199,861-square-foot, six-story development serving households earning up to 80% of Area Median Income. Five floors of factory-built studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments rise above a site-built concrete ground level accommodating parking, utilities, resident services, and flexible commercial space for future neighborhood-serving uses.
The factory-built approach is a defining feature of the project, combining volumetric residential modules with conventional ground-level construction. Build Group self-performed modular installation, exterior façade systems, flooring, and cabinetry, coordinating multiple scopes across the two construction methods.
Residents enjoy a 2,500-square-foot roof deck, fitness center, coworking center, quiet lounge, package room, and storage. A landscaped 2,100-square-foot entry courtyard creates a welcoming gathering place, while the adjacent 20th Street Public Pocket Park adds open space for the neighborhood. The development includes 280 secure bicycle parking stalls and 329 vehicle stalls. GreenPoint-certified Prescott Station received the 2025 ENR Excellence in Safety award.
