Aritzia – Broadway Plaza

Aritzia – Broadway Plaza is a Type III retail tenant improvement project delivering an 8,118-square-foot, single-level renovation at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. Build Group completed the transformation of an existing retail space to support Aritzia’s brand standards while addressing critical structural and seismic performance requirements.

The project included extensive seismic upgrades, with a strong focus on structural concrete and steel improvements to enhance the building’s resilience and long-term performance. Build Group played a central role in coordinating these upgrades within an active retail center environment, carefully sequencing work to maintain safety, quality, and schedule while integrating new architectural and building systems.

In addition to structural improvements, the scope included a full interior tenant improvement with new finishes, fixtures, and integrated MEP systems. Build Group also replaced the existing storefront with intricate metalwork, creating a refined exterior expression aligned with Aritzia’s retail identity and elevating the storefront presence within the shopping center.

The completed project delivers a modernized, structurally enhanced retail environment that supports Aritzia’s customer experience while strengthening the durability and value of the space within Broadway Plaza’s premier open-air retail setting.
