Solidcore – Castro

[solidcore] – Castro is a 1,909-square-foot tenant improvement delivering a new health and wellness studio within an occupied building in San Francisco. Build Group completed the full interior build-out to create a specialized Pilates fitness environment tailored to [solidcore]’s high-intensity training program.

The project included new non-bearing partitions, doors, finishes, ceilings, lighting, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements, along with floor infill and underground plumbing work. New ADA-accessible restrooms, locker rooms, lobby areas, and custom millwork supported both member functionality and the studio’s branded interior experience.

A key feature of the build-out was an acoustically rated isolated double-ceiling assembly designed to help control sound and vibration within the occupied building. Exterior work also included replacing the existing double entry door with a new single entry door.

Build Group self-performed the flooring scope, supporting quality control and finish coordination throughout the compact tenant space. The completed studio combines accessibility, acoustic performance, upgraded building systems, and refined interiors to create a high-performance fitness environment within an active urban setting.
