Barry's Boot Camp - Financial District

Barry’s Bootcamp (Bush Street) is a 4,942-square-foot tenant improvement project converting an existing ground-floor retail space into a high-end boutique fitness center within a Class A Financial District high-rise. As Barry’s Bootcamp’s first of two San Francisco locations, the facility expanded the internationally recognized fitness brand into the city’s downtown core with a premium workout environment designed to meet its signature standards.

The single-story conversion transformed an existing commercial space into a specialized fitness facility while accommodating the logistical constraints of construction within an occupied high-rise. Build Group coordinated closely with building management to minimize disruption to neighboring tenants while maintaining an accelerated, fast-track construction schedule. The project also required advanced acoustical isolation measures to support high-intensity fitness programming without impacting adjacent occupancies.

Scope included full interior demolition, new concrete slabs and ramps, an acoustically isolated workout studio with kinetic sound isolation and specialized rubber flooring, STC-rated hollow metal doors, custom reception and Fuel Bar millwork, tile locker rooms with private showers, a custom wood-grid reception ceiling, and complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems. The completed facility delivers Barry’s signature workout experience to the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District.
