Build Group renovated and expanded this restaurant space in the historic San Francisco Ferry Building to triple its capacity. Our team’s expertise was on full display, as there are many managerial challenges to building on an active dock. With over 130 seats, Hog Island’s upgraded location features a full-service kitchen and bar, custom concrete counters, and reclaimed cypress millwork throughout. The perfect finishing touch, designed by CCS Architecture, is the ceiling we installed replicating the hull of a boat.
