Morimoto Asia Napa

Morimoto Asia Napa is a Type I restaurant tenant improvement located on Main Street in downtown Napa. For this second location with repeat client Morimoto, Build Group delivers a 4,482-square-foot high-end renovation that elevates the dining experience through custom finishes and upgraded building systems.

The project transforms the existing space to match the elevated Main Street location and Morimoto’s signature aesthetic. Build Group coordinates comprehensive upgrades to mechanical and plumbing systems while installing all-new custom kitchen equipment designed for the restaurant’s Pan-Asian menu. Custom pass-through arches create visual connections between front and back of house, while refined lighting enhances the dining atmosphere.

A signature element is the golden dragon statue that wraps dramatically around a living room column, establishing an iconic focal point. Custom cabinetry and owner-furnished elements including kitchen equipment, lighting fixtures, and banquettes complete the sophisticated interior. The thoughtful integration of building systems, custom millwork, and distinctive design features creates a polished restaurant environment. Morimoto Asia Napa opened in August 2022, bringing celebrated Pan-Asian cuisine to Napa’s downtown dining scene.
