Park James Hotel

Park James Hotel is a ground-up boutique hospitality project located at 1400 El Camino Real in Menlo Park, California. Build Group delivered this 55,173-square-foot, four-story development with one level below grade, providing 61 guest rooms and a valet parking garage.

The project transformed a previously underutilized site into a vibrant hospitality destination, integrating a full-service hotel program within a compact urban footprint. Build Group played a key role in coordinating construction across mixed-use occupancies, including below-grade parking, active ground-floor public spaces, and guestroom levels above, while maintaining efficiency and quality throughout delivery.

The ground floor is activated with a hotel lobby, restaurant, bar, and flexible function spaces, complemented by outdoor amenities including a plaza, garden terrace, and open-air pavilion. Upper levels are dedicated to guest rooms and hotel support facilities, creating a cohesive and efficient layout that enhances both guest experience and operational flow.

The completed hotel delivers a refined boutique hospitality experience, combining thoughtful programming, high-quality amenities, and integrated indoor-outdoor spaces that support both visitors and the surrounding community.
