Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf PIP Renovation is a 340,000-square-foot interior hospitality tenant improvement project located in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf district. Build Group delivered this phased renovation of 534 guestrooms within a fully operational hotel environment.

The project addressed the need to modernize a high-traffic waterfront hotel while maintaining uninterrupted guest operations. Build Group executed a high-velocity, block-by-block renovation strategy, coordinating demolition, construction, and turnover on a floor-by-floor basis to keep rooms in serviceable inventory. Strict logistics protocols governed worker access, material deliveries, and noise control, ensuring minimal impact to guests and hotel staff throughout construction.

The renovation included full bathroom upgrades, new plumbing fixtures, ADA compliance improvements, wall and ceiling finish replacement, millwork installation, and comprehensive FF&E coordination and installation. Corridor scope included finish carpentry and hardware upgrades, along with wall covering and base replacement throughout public hallways, sequenced to minimize visual impact to guests moving between occupied and construction zones.

The completed renovation enhances guest experience, operational efficiency, and brand standards, demonstrating Build Group’s ability to deliver complex, large-scale hospitality upgrades within fully occupied environments.
